Writing into a void hurts like hell.

It hurts to spend a tangible portion of your life pouring your soul into an article only to be ignored by the very people you were trying to help in the first place.

It is akin to the story of a poor mother who could not afford to get new clothes because she was saving every penny she made for her son’s education. Only for him to grow up and despise her because his friends at school would always make jokes about his mum wearing the same clothes.

It is heartbreaking, to say the least.

But,

You must not stop writing.

When nobody cares about your writing, you must continue writing.

The more you are ignored, the more you should write and publish. That is what I did as a newbie writer on Medium.

If you give up and throw in the towel, you will miss out on your opportunity to be read. But if you continue to write, then you have a chance.

A possibility is a hint from God to keep trying. Keep trying, and you will get to your tipping point soon.

A possibility is a hint from God to keep trying.

Keep trying but ask why.

Having a never die attitude is great, But you must find out why you are getting the results you are getting.

Are there people that are getting the kind of engagement that you desire?

What are they doing differently, and how can you change accordingly?

It is not enough to be committed and resilient. You must pause, ask questions, and change where you must.
