New Writer, it is Too Early to Give Up: Here’s Why You Should Aim to be Great
“Aim to be great, fall short, do it again, fall a bit less short, and do it again.” — Ayodeji Awosika
Never give up on writing!
It is too early to give up simply because nobody reads what you write.
If I did, you would not be reading this article right now. I went through a rough patch myself.
I barely had anyone viewing and reading my articles. But I never gave up. I changed as many times as I needed to. I never stopped writing, and now, my case is a lot different. I write for an audience.
Friend, Aim To Be Great
No matter what it looks like now, “aim to be great,” said top Medium writer Ayodeji Awosika “fall short, do it again, fall a bit less short, and do it again.”
You have a voice that nobody else has — find it.
Although, sometimes, that means that you would sound foolish by writing articles that your future self will cringe at while reading still, do not be afraid. It is better to look foolish today and achieve mastery tomorrow.
The only shortcut to writing success is working daily on your skill and investing time, energy, and money to hone your craft and become better at what you do.
Fall short as many times as you need to but ensure that you are always moving towards success.
